How it works
From first call to final punch list
No four-hour presentation, no same-day discount that expires when we leave. Here is exactly how a project moves from a quick message to a finished room, and what happens at each step.
The process
Seven steps, no surprises
Most of the work that decides whether a remodel goes well happens before demo day. This is where we spend our effort.
Tell us the project
Service, ZIP, and timeline through the form or a phone call. Sixty seconds. No account, no uploads, and nothing you say here commits you to anything.
We call and walk the space
A call within one business day, then a walkthrough at your convenience. We measure, look behind the walls where we can, and ask what you are actually trying to fix.
You get a written estimate
A line item estimate with scope, allowances, and a timeline. Free, in writing, and yours to keep. Take a week with it. Take it to someone else. The number is the number either way.
Design and selections
We lock the layout and the finishes, then turn allowances into real materials. Getting selections settled here is what keeps change orders and surprises off the job later.
Permits and scheduling
We pull the permits on any scope that requires one, and tell you up front when yours does. Then we sequence the trades and set a start date around long-lead materials. TKTK typical review windows by city.
Build
Demo, rough-in, inspections, then finishes. One point of contact the whole way, a tidy site at the end of each day, and honest updates when something behind the wall changes the plan.
Punch list and walkthrough
We walk the finished space with you, write down anything that needs a final touch, and close it out. Then the workmanship warranty carries it forward. TKTK confirm warranty terms.
Our promise
The estimate is a conversation, not a closing
No same-day discount that expires when we leave, no financing pitch before we have seen the room, no pressure to sign anything at the kitchen table. We walk the space, ask what you are trying to fix, and put a real number in writing. What you do with it is entirely your call.

Questions about the process
How long does a typical project take?
It depends on scope and permits, so we put a timeline in writing with your estimate and tell you where the risk sits, usually permit review and long-lead materials. We would rather give you an honest range than a number invented to win the job. TKTK typical ranges by service and city.
Do I have to move out during the work?
For a single kitchen or bath, usually not. For a full-home remodel we phase the work and talk through whether living onsite makes sense, because sequencing around an occupied house changes the plan and the cost.
When do I pay, and do you offer financing?
Payments are tied to milestones, not taken up front, and the schedule is in your contract. Financing options are available for projects under and over $100k. TKTK confirm payment schedule and financing terms.
Who pulls the permits?
We do, on any scope that requires one, and we tell you up front when your project needs one. A remodeler who suggests skipping the permit is handing you the liability. Details by city on our Bellevue, Seattle, and Kent pages.
What if I am only planning right now?
That is fine. The estimate is free and yours to keep whether you build this year or not. Plenty of people use it to decide whether a project is worth doing at all.
Who actually performs the work?
Bellevue Kitchen & Bath Studio is a licensed Washington contractor that builds every project (WA registration TKTK). Your contract for the work is with us, and we stay on it until the punch list is closed.
Ready when you are
